Frequently Asked Questions

Manifold assemblies are a vital component of your RV, and you need a customer-service oriented vendor who is responsive to your needs. We are dedicated to providing responsive service.

We invite you to browse the questions below or reach out directly.

We have four manifold types.

Our M-11 is a 3-port manifold (One side port and two end ports).

The M-12 is a 4-port (Two side ports and two end ports).

Our M-22 is a 6-port manifold (Four side ports – two on each side and two end ports).

The M-14 is also a 6-port (Four side ports – all on same side and two end ports).

We carry two sizes of plugs. One is our 100-56. It is a ¼-in thread used in the side of our manifolds. The other is our 100-57 and it is a 3/8-in thread that is used in the end of our manifold.

That is our EF6-0015 adaptor. It is 3/8-in MPT x 1/2-in M Flare. It will require a 7/8-in and a 3/4-in wrench to tighten or take off.

That 3/8-in MPT x 1/2-in M Flare depending on your model manufacturer we aren’t the only supply you make need to check with your OEM in regards for verification.

Unfortunately, the way our systems are registered we can’t help you do that as it goes against the warranty for our assembly and our UL listing. However if you contact the OEM about the changes you want to make and there are no warranty issues then they will advise you from there.

Unfortunately, that’s not an adapter we supply.

Unfortunately that goes against our UL listing, and we aren’t allowed to help you customize your model.

Unfortunately we do not sell rolls of hose.

We also don’t sell any hose without proper fittings. If you want to inquire about just purchasing hose then please contact our San Marcos Texas division, Flex-Tech Hose & Tubing, about those needs.

Our systems are designed to replace any individual hose or fitting if need be, without compromising the whole system. Once a bad hose or fitting has been designated, then all you need is to contact your manufacturer parts department and order a new one for installation.

You can use any approved sealant for brass fittings or Teflon tape (Yellow regulated for LP). You can purchase these at a hardware retailer or at a Lowe’s, Menards, or Home Depot.

The best way to extract a hose out of the manifold is to use finesse and leverage.

The 3/8-in hose in the end of a manifold should be easier to get out. This will require an 11/16-in wrench. A wrench with a longer handle will work best. You want to get a good grip on the end of the handle and gently push so the seal will break on the fitting.

Once the fitting begins to move, then it should come out fine. The side port fittings and/or hose will need a 9/16-in wrench to remove.

If you feel like your wrench is slipping off the fitting, then you are giving too much torque. Take the wrench off and reposition it if possible. Use less torque and gently push to move the fitting. Once the seal is broken and the hose begins to move, it will come out.

You can also use an Easy Out- however the sizes vary.
